CREDIT works towards the actualization of the goals and aspirations of the University of Ilorin through continuously striving to achieve and maintain the culture of excellence for which the institution is well known. The Centre performs the following activities to achieve its vision and mission
To be a world-class Centre for the promotion of research, development, innovation, and training.
To coordinate research, development and training activities that will enhance optimum performance of staff and students.
Processing of research proposals submitted to the Central Research Committee (CRC) for peer review to improve their quality.
Sourcing for and disseminating information on research grants and fellowships
